We are pleased to announce the release of the version 0.9.3 of the DGtal library and its DGtalTools (http://dgtal.org). This 0.9.3 release contains many improvements and bugfixes, please have a look to the complete changelog. We would like to focus on three new major features:
- implementation of ParDirCollapse in cubical complexes ;
- Volumetric analysis tools (VoronoiMap, PowerMap, —Reverse—DistanceTransformation and ReducedMedialAxis) now work on toroidal domains (with per-dimension periodicity specification) ;
- a new version of the Vol format (Version 3) allowing compressed volumetric files (as efficient as PNG). You can convert your old Vol files to the new version using DGtalTools « convertVol » tool. Please note that older version are still supported in DGtal).
